Getting there and around

Airport
Nice-Cote d'Azur International is the airport mostly used by Cannes. This airport is 27km east of Cannes. Accessible by bus, taxi and helicopter. 

Train
France's national rail system, Societe Nationalee de Chemins de Fer (SNCF), offers service from every part of France.
The gare SNCF is on rue Jean-Jaurès, five blocks north of the orange, concrete Palais des Festivals on the seafront
There are two gare routières : one on place B.-Cornut-Gentille between the Mairie and Le Suquet, serving coastal destinations; and the other next to the gare SNCF for buses inland to places such as Grasse.

Bus
Good bus service is provided for the suburbs and for many of the outlying towns and villages. The main bus station is very visible, outside, at the northwest corner of the port, on the Place Bernard Cornut-Gentille.
